Soccer
In this face off between the freshmen and sophomores, the soccer game is played on the practice fields and is a heated match between classes. The grade that wins receives higher points added to their score, and of course, bragging rights.
Powder Puff
Powder puff is one of the most anticipated events of the entire homecoming week. Junior and Senior girls face off with Varsity football players as their coaches. Whichever grade triumphs, they receive up to 100 points added to their overall score for the week. This truly is a battle between the grades like no other.
Video Game Tournament
The video game tournament is one of our newer homecoming activities, where students compete in a series of different video games in an attempt to win more points for their class!
Battle for the Castle
This is a battle between the class that is held in the gym and is a series of relays that your class representatives try to win. With everything from Tug of War to Bunk beds, Battle of the Classes gets loud and competitive. The winning class receives huge bragging rights and the most points added to their total Homecoming score for the week.
Talent Show
Students and Faculty audition at the beginning of the week to showcase their talents in the Homecoming Talent Show. The talent show is a mixture of all grades, ages, and talents, and is a wonderful display of the talented people found at Oak Mountain.
Homecoming Pep Rally
Held the afternoon of the Friday of the game, the Homecoming Pep Rally gets loud and exciting as the whole school cheers on our football team who will play the Homecoming game later that night! We also have one final round of Battle of the Classes.
